I've heard some people claim the moon is not reflecting light but providing its own light. Meaning it is not just a reflective rock in space.

Right now he is trying to prove there is a second sun and doing research and filming through his telescope.
Also there are theories about space being water and that is how it is described in the Bible. However other religious texts describe heavens as water as well. Clouds are water vapor.
