I'd recently come across an image of Jesus, which was rendered by AI (Midjourney) according to the imprint on the shroud of Turin, which supposedly covered Jesus after he was crucified. Here's a link about the info, which also contains the AI image:

In any case, I was wondering what y'all's thoughts were on it, and if anyone had any info on the authenticity of the shroud of Turin.

I looked into it a bit a few years ago. Almost all the arguments against it were obvious pilpul, various logical fallacies or "it just can't happen lol".

Supposedly it can not be replicated, though again, this is clouded by bullshit explanations or lies.

I just assume it to be real.

Which would point more to it being authentic than inauthentic, because for something to be truly miraculous, Natural Science *must be unable* to replicate it, at least within the confines of when it had occured.

Well duh, that's half the point of a miracle right there.
