I'd recently come across an image of Jesus, which was rendered by AI (Midjourney) according to the imprint on the shroud of Turin, which supposedly covered Jesus after he was crucified. Here's a link about the info, which also contains the AI image:

In any case, I was wondering what y'all's thoughts were on it, and if anyone had any info on the authenticity of the shroud of Turin.

Fake and gay --> like every single claimed artifact from Jesus' execution.

As a student of the Bronze Age, the notion this shroud would have been imprinted and/or survived the sequence of events surrounding the story of his burial (and even resurrection) and distribution of artifacts, for this long, is far too implausible.

Did Jesus exist? Yes
Was he a notable preacher who spoke against the status quo? Yes
Was he sent by his father God to be sacrificed? Don't be absurd.
Was Christianity an exploitation of cultures seeking to cultivate obedience? Undeniably.

And the obedience clearly didn't work as Rome had to put Jerusalem to the sword and eventually Christianity conquered Rome.

>christianity conquered rome

Other way around. All gods and religions were adopted by authorities to control the masses. Countless examples in Greek and Egyptian and Mesopotamia of lores being adopted by higher ups as more people began adopting trends. And that is literally what religion is --> a trend.

Rome became The Holy Roman Empire for 1,000 more years thanks to pacifying the people by "adopting" Christianity. Note that during this time taxing people for religion grew, using priests and preachers to spread propaganda became more efficient, and banking in the name of the church became SOP
