He has a child, but he got divorce raped by his first wife, he sold his company to Microsoft because the game made him miserable but became a pariah to his own project because of Microsoft, he went on record saying that he felt guilty for selling the game. Pretty rough go at it
It's also true that extremely high iq people (like him) tend to suffer more from feeling overall miserable (and he has an extremely high iq)
He might have a girlfriend, a wife, might have a job, might have a whole kid for all we know. We don't know much about the dude anymore. He's working on another game though now, so he might get some more attention in the years to come. I'll definitely buy it if/when it comes out. Class act dude who made up a big part of my childhood who's been fucked over and cheated.

Pick one. Minecraft is one of the stupidest games ever made. It's only popular because everyone is a fucking retard now. I can name 40 games far far better than Minecraft off the top of my head.
Even something like stormworks has superior building.
