Pick one. Minecraft is one of the stupidest games ever made. It's only popular because everyone is a fucking retard now. I can name 40 games far far better than Minecraft off the top of my head.

On its own, minecraft isnt much to write home about, just a pretty bare bones and poorly optimized voxel sandbox. But the real brilliance of it is that you can do practically anything in it, and it encourages an analytical and constructive mindset to build complicated contraptions and huge bases. Minecraft is the white man's game.

Most level editors dont allow synchronous multiplayer with your buddies, which is what is truly special about minecraft. Its meant to be played with friends unless your an uber autist who enjoys building redstone machines in singleplayer creative.

I agree. It was interesting at the time and it's procedural generation is still relevant but the building mechanics are primitive at best.

Even something like stormworks has superior building.
