OK, so you're saying that verse is defining the church as simply people who pray together to Jesus. That's not only a terrible oversimplification taken way out of context and ignores mountains of other pertinent scriptures, it also completely fails to address /u/fourleaved 's entire argument which is that Christ mandated that you receive the sacraments.

I said nothing about that. His argument is also that “you must **go to** church,” but church is anywhere Christians gather in His name.
