OK, so you're saying that verse is defining the church as simply people who pray together to Jesus. That's not only a terrible oversimplification taken way out of context and ignores mountains of other pertinent scriptures, it also completely fails to address /u/fourleaved 's entire argument which is that Christ mandated that you receive the sacraments.

I said nothing about that. His argument is also that “you must **go to** church,” but church is anywhere Christians gather in His name.

I'm not gonna write a fuckin dissertation to show you that Christ established A church and vested it with both heavenly and earthly authority to be executed by particular men, then demanded that you support that church in prayer and in deed, and to receive from it the sacraments He ordained. I don't care about you enough to spend that kinda time, especially knowing what an obstinate heretic you are.
