I've fixed my own HVAC many times.
Usually it's just a bad capacitor. Every time the HVAC kicks on that capacitor gets worked.
One time it was a bad solenoid that wasn't moving the internal valve from hot to cold
Another time I had a bad capacitor up by the air handler not sending signal to outside condenser.
The hardest part really is the diagnosis.
Switching out the parts is fairly easy.

Haha internal valve. Moves when you switch heat to cold or cold to heat. Until it doesn't. It's activated by a solenoid. In a pinch, you can buy one of those round magnets and move the internal valve with a strong magnet in place of the magnetism created by the solenoid.
HVAC isn't that complicated. You could learn it in one year and then be fetching $150+ per service call, 3-4 calls per day, and make more on installations. Don't use a heat pump if you can, they're just not worth it. If the ambient air temperature drops below like 50 they become *horribly* inefficient at generating heat compared to gas furnaces. Unless you live in a desert or some other place that's hot pretty much all year round and you never have a serious demand for heat.
I just got a cast iron wood stove for free. It was 500lbs and they said if I can move it I can have it. So I will build a cabin around this new stove to heat during winters. I'm looking for some mountain land to build a new castle
No, they'd air it. But instead of directly showing the footage of him scamming, they'd narrate what happened over footage from some of the innocent white guys, while not technically identifying the perpetrator. The black guy's footage would be part of the intro, but they would show the part where he scams.

Can vouch for this one, a true life hack in this shitty excuse for what remains of Western society. You'll hang up more often this way than not, but you'll save yourself so much aggravation it's more than worth it.
Anyway I saw something I wanted for the baby but it was a nigger giving it away so I was thought it was not worth it, probably smelly or dangerously close to broken or actually broken. Not worth the risk.
