I figured that was probably part of this story. She probably owns a souvenir shop or something and knows better. I was at Pawleys Island (SC) several years ago and my family were the only ones on the beach until this lady pulls up in a van with her 3 kids and they immediately go to work picking up every starfish on the beach, putting them into 5 gallon buckets and then laying them out on a blanket to dry them out. They did one round of that before I told her to stop and had to threaten to call the cops. People are pieces of shit.
