They have become too experimental in the end. I hope they can make a new album that has classic, melodic music like they always did.

The problems started when they lost Alan Wilder who really was the "musician" of the band. He did a masterful job basically co-producting Music For The Masses, Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion. After that they lost a lot of his magic. Martin's a great songwriter but he needs the great arrangements of Alan.

Yes, the original band was perfect. But I still hope they can return to what music we all like them for.

It would be a G move if Martin Gore reached out and gave an olive branch to Alan Wilder, especially now that Fletch has died.

Martin kind of jewed him on the publishing and songwriting credits.
