Lol this. Mando I think resonated because it, in a sense, represents Christianity in this modern era. Too many people dont realize this

Totally. Mando lives like a warrior monk:
* Works as a bounty hunter but seeks justice rather than wealth, women, fame, etc.
* Follows a strict moral code and does not depart from it willingly
* Looks out for the poor and vulnerable, especially orphans ("foundlings")
* When he breaks his code (for a noble purpose), he goes on a pilgrimage of atonement to a sacred site to be baptised and reaffirm his oath

etc.

...so this is guaranteed to resonate strongly with our people. Magically preggers space lesbos? Not so much.
