It will never "die" because it doesn't need to turn a profit. If Disney needs more money, the federal printers will move as much as they need to Disney's accounts. I don't think they'll ever surrender the IP, and if they do, it will be bought by another, similar organization like Apple.

It's not out of their pockets, though. You have to actually work to earn money. They just print it and give it to their friends and them tax you for working.

Hoover vaccumes. Changes hands every 5 years or so. Used to be a solid American brand, now it's Chinese crap with a label. I imagine that's the fate of most ips once Hollywood collapses.

Small mom and pop shop, does whatever they do with pride. They are successful and get to open a new store. You aren't hiring people who care as much as you do. Even if you get good people, you may not have enough resource and you have to change to a supplier that can meet your needs.
