Yeah, I liked Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate. Star Trek today looks like a weird communist fantasy, Stargate appears a bit like pro-US military propaganda. But Battlestar Galactica... I don't think that has some messaging, it's a unique story. It also has nice space ship battle scenes... I like the design of it. No colorful light shows, just metallic, kinetic weaponry in extended fights. I happen to want to emulate it in my game as well.

The player faction will consist of Aryans only, and hostile NPC factions will be out-of-control androids, jewish-muslim-nigger "liberal" "melting pot" conglomerations and some more.

And the player faction won't be the one "just striking back" - they are destined to purge the galaxy from these depraved abominations.

I hope you're successful. I've also got an idea for a game. But even with things like Steam and Gog, it's a long road from concept to completed product, huh?

Yeah, it's hard. The key is to make it realizable. I have to work with a lot of math, algorithms and systems, so while that is difficult, it can be done by a single person. A lot is already done. A future step will be to procedurally generate galaxies, which are distributed in a 3D-web like shape. To find fitting formulas for that shape will be challenging.

Ah, they have indeed 256 galaxies. But I don't know what shape it has. I planned the primary galaxy to be relevant for all starting players up to the late stage of the game. When they are sufficiently powerful in terms of equipment and ships, and also acquired the ability to travel from galaxy to another, they can enter subsequent ones. They are meant to be challenging, and they are populated by hostile aliens. The more they move away from the primary galaxy, the harder it gets, but also more rewarding. Also galaxies are meant to be visually and gameplay-wise different (different resources in type and quantity). Even if unrealistic, why not green, purple, or black stars for example? Maybe global effects even.

But think of other galaxies as something to be done much later, like an expansion to the game. And when they are done, it will reach the size of the observable universe, which may encompass millions of galaxies, 99.99%+ of which will never be visited by any player. The point however is that as players explore and spread out, they can discover new ones. So while at the beginning only 1 is relevant, in 2-6 months 2 are, and in 2 years 5-10 are.

The key is to make the result of procedural generation good, and I already have plans for that. I will make sure it won't be something sloppy and stale.
