The crux of the problem is finding a way to ensure that healthy people don’t pay for the conscious decisions of the unhealthy. Nothing else can be trusted to be regulated without abuse or totalitarianism. If we can simply make it uneconomical to be fat, people will stop being fat.

Except the collective cost of the fat is in time, resources, and manpower, all of which are finite. Medical resources distributed to fats are *not* distributed to real people. This causes artificial economic scarcity, driving up the cost of treatment for everyone. It’s nothing to do with communist systems and everything to do with the nature of economics itself.
A true national health service wouldn't just be keeping the emergency room doors open and ambulances running. It would take a vested interest in the health of the race and make real contributions in the realm of medicine to regulate healthy lifestyles.
How about we lock citizenship behind a national fitness test. No more porkers diluting my vote

alternatively a government that actually cares about its people can promote exercise plans and make sure to only produce good and healthy food, so people never even get to that point in the first place.

Why is that the government's job? You want even more government spending to promote stupid programs that require nationwide costs to ensure?
Ayh agree the government shd enforce healthy food and restrict many things that shd not be allowed in our diet. Ayh just can't agree to lame government programs and marketing that are just wastes of money like MADD and Say No and National Fitness Test etc etc
this is like a political debate. Natsoc ethnostate or bargaining with conservatism. You need to pull the problem out by the root. If the people only get good food and are encouraged to exercise, it's literally impossible to get fat.
This is why ayh expressed explicitly that ayh would advocate a country with a single income tax and this tax % can change relative to being a fat piece of shit.
We are trying to romanticize an ideal version of things not complain more about what we already have ruined.
My take --> taxes have always existed and yes a tax shd exist to pay government to operate on our behalf. It shd be a simple single tax and a simple government
That said --> obesity shd be a penalty on that single income tax. You consume more in goods and services due to your size and waste and shd have to pay more than a fit person.
Calling people fat is clearly not enough bcz we called people fat all the time in the 80s and 90s but after that white Americans still became loads. Social contract is not enough.
