What does it even do?
Labels the post. Sometimes people are feeling in the mood for just memes. Sometimes people have slow internet and dont want to load in videos, the user experience would be much better just knowing its a video before loading it. Thats why I try to say how long it is when I post vids, but Im lazy and usually dont.
It labels them within the meta too. So maybe someday the website can have a sorting feature.

Can you even filter by flairs? I recently haven't seen any feature to do that, but I think it used to exist.
The site seems to be losing features instead of gaining any lol. Community style gone, save for the banner. Then they removed the format bar, so you can only use manual formatting like \*\* on each side to make the text **fat**, etc. Also there are no video controls in full screen, unless you right click and do "show controls". So weird.
