Labels the post. Sometimes people are feeling in the mood for just memes. Sometimes people have slow internet and dont want to load in videos, the user experience would be much better just knowing its a video before loading it. Thats why I try to say how long it is when I post vids, but Im lazy and usually dont.
It labels them within the meta too. So maybe someday the website can have a sorting feature.
I mean, it only takes like an hour to go through all the posts on this board in a day. Less if you don't interact with them, and even less still if you self-filter our certain kinds.
