In the North East coast we have people who are a high percentage of Dutch. The Southerners are almost identical to Anglo-Saxon, but have high Scottish percentage. The Midwest has a very high percentage of German and Irish blood. The Smokey Mountain people are largely Scottish. Then there are various French populations.
We took the established races of Western Europe and formed new races. The problem is that there has never been a distinct identity connected to them. When the Pennsylvanians invade a place like South Carolina, an established American race is being upset by foreign blood.
