I bet the fucking soda fountain and condiments weren't hoarded away behind the counter either so they can jew you with one ketchup packet like they do now.
It's an AI photo. Biggest indicator is always the hands, as AI has a hard time making them look anatomically correct. Look at the woman's (mom, in light blue dress, front left) right hand, the one the child is holding. Her thumb is on the opposite side that it should be.

This looks AI generated. Dad's wrist is a mess, it looks like he has a plastic toupee, and he looks suspiciously like the other man in the background. Mom only has two fingers. Daughter is grabbing both burgers and has an alien-looking wrist. Son looks like a young Brian Peppers. The McDs packaging looks like a french fry container merged with a soda. The other containers have unidentifiable logos.

My mother-in-law made 10 dollars an hour as a cashier at a local grocery store in Colorado in 1973. That's the same purchasing power as 70 bucks today. My brother barely makes that and he's been working as a mechanical engineer offshore for an oil company for a decade.
Boomers have been fucking the world since they were born. There was a book written a long time ago called "The Pig in the Python". The boomers are the pig.
You cannot get a single family suburban home for less than $200k in most areas.
I don't think inflation or wages is the issue here. The issue is the housing market is fucked because there's corporate investors and foreign invaders coming in and buying up our housing. People in the west have never spent such a high portion of their income on mediocre housing as they do today.
