I had a thought last night about the utility of QR Codes, as a tool for Barter.
They can be printed and single use.
They can be emailed, or sent by text, and single use.
Now, the concept of single use currency may be a little controversial, and there is the challenge of the giver spending it before the receiver does, but there might be possibility for a Trust system that prevents this type of fraud.
The question to answer is about anonymous / digital / paper barter, and anonymous identity in a digital world.
Make me think of dissidents like Red Ice, Mark Collete who have been frozen out of banking and payment processors. Crypto seems like a good work around currently.
There are some problems with crypto, for a person that is frozen out of bank.. They can receive crypto, and send it.. but they need a bank to convert it to cash.
The unbanked should buy a decent safe, and convert their cash to silver, and their silver to cash.. and let their safe be the bank.. If they have a lot then they should have several safes..
Not necessarily ideal, but I have gone unbanked for a few years at a time, it does limit some buying and business opportunities, but it also relieves some forms of stress.
