Some say they're white elders who dindu nuffin

Some say they had all kinds of power and made awful choices

For myself I had stereotypical experiences of boomers and some of them could have been humbler, more generous, kinder, more courageous, and so on.

The younger generations seem "lost" due to defective leadership of the older generations, although maybe it could be argued they have failed to "bootstrap" certain things.

But also I feel the boomers' parents were more of the ones that needed to prevent things that were happening, and they could have possibly parented better.

The boomer parent generation seemed to have the baton and dropped it, but then boomers ran far away in the wrong direction, then the generations coming after than have been simply a derivative of this aggressive lead in the wrong direction made by the boomers

Thoughts on boomers, or their parents, or the generations?

I understand why the boomer made the choices they did. They and their parents were trusting and caught up in the wonders of their time. Look at this boxed food! Now I don't have to teach my children how to cook!

My parents are on the tail end of the boomers. They have passed on very little to nothing. My father had a mid life crisis when I was a teenager and left my mother to go sleep around. I don't talk to my father anymore because its more stress than dealing with him than its worth. My mother is basically a legitimate NPC, all she does is work and consoom.

Boomers choose to be souless machines.

Fuck boomers. They lived during the greatest artificial prosperity ever experienced during the entire history of mankind and decided that "actually microplastics and estrogen are the things I want to leave my grandchildren, not functional generational culture and knowledge and wealth".

Sure most wouldn't even know what the fuck I just said, but the ones that do, won't even mutter an apology only a "you would have done the same"

This is how i feel about them sometimes

absolutely destroyed a lot of things and have the arrogance to think they're the best and that no one can criticize or question their bad decisions

history will forget or shame this generation I think

on the other hand boomers were more white so I wonder if some people think that the anti-boomer narrative is an anti-white narrative

Idk I've never heard that take myself. You don't see many nigger boomers because their health sucks and they are mostly dead.

lol I wish boomers would have just left us entirely alone, or done a good job as authorities

anarchy, or authoritarianism

instead I saw a weird mix of directing people towards materialism and destruction and compromise and so on

Thats the kind of boomer I only remember from 'the Magic Picture Box'. Imagine someone 'involved' in my development at all. That would have been interesting. Bunch of nannies, at best in the form of teachers.

They fucked up the world and blame their kids and grandchildren.

*"Just do like I did: get a college degree and you'll get a great, high-paying job..."*

Sorry, boomer, that ship sailed in 1965
