part of a bigger project, working title "Chronicles of Ord". i'd say the futuristic project is my main one. i want to structure it like an anthology. basic lore rundown is that in some unknown year 0, humans left the Solar system after THE big colony war which caused a bunch of Tech-fags to turn orbital weapon platforms over to AI control. naturally, the AI ran amok and has turned the Solar system into that scene from Resident Evil with the white plasteel hallway and the LASERs. anyways, humanity gathers up in a fleet and leaves for a system they had scouted out decades, perhaps centuries before; the Ord system - and just before the fleet arrived, with most-everyone in cryosleep, a bunch of dickwads who had set their cryo to "Fuck you, we ball" woke up, broke off and established their own little colonies here and there.

cue Ord Primus and the other planets in the Ord system being settled, the First Ordic Empire being formed and declared...and surprised Basilleus face when they run into human colonies right outside the core system. cue 853 years later, First Ordic Empire collapsed into civil war and went through an interregnum. Second one also collapsed into civil war and interregnum and gave way to the CSF, the Core Systems Federation (hence Feds).

these lads are preparing for deployment to the titular planet, which is being used as a sort of live fire bullshit tango by the Fed Intel. lots of rebel factions, tons of (in)fighting. officially it's part of the Federation, unofficially it's a shithole of urban ruins and churned-mud-wastelands that's being governed from an orbital station. worst part is, it wasn't some prison planet or whatever, it was a regular Imperial-turned-Federal planet-state which just got couped into instability and turned into a combination of open air prison, anti-Fed breeding ground and weapon testing site.

After the French ✡︎✡︎✡︎ who run the company I last worked for ruined my health, finances, and career with their lies & manipulation, I've been devoting my time to collecting, analyzing, and consolidating various data, organized by ZIP code and ZCTA (ZIP Code Tabulation Area - used for US Census data) in order to search the entire country for places that are *virtually* untainted, affordable, and a sound financial investment (or should be, if you can afford to buy property, avoiding the usury if possible (which I aim to do ASAP)), so that I can escape the rabid-animal-infested city I live in, and basically, reboot my entire life.

I've also included climate and elevation data in the main tool, and have various other worksheets with expanded data sets for several of the metrics (e.g. population by race for other races besides white & black, and by age/sex for white only (non-hispanic)) which I could make available upon request to anyone interested, as well as an analysis of various tax data by state (and some, by county) - sales, income, & property tax rates. But unfortunately, with over 40,000 US ZIP codes included, I couldn't include *all* of the data in one Google sheet (due to a hard limit of 10,000,000 cells per worksheet, and incredibly slow performance beyond what I've included so far).

This took a lot of time and effort to put together. But I am making it publicly available for free because I believe it to be very ethically and culturally important at this time to help ensure the preservation of Anglo-Saxon and other Caucasian bloodlines and cultures. I won't provide information for donations. If you want to thank me, simply paying it forward and distributing this as widely as possible is the best way. Please just save your own copy, and always download and share either an offline copy in xlsx format, or *from your own Google Sheets account*, changing the sharing settings to make it available for "anyone with the link", and modifying the URL to add "/copy" at the end instead of "/edit...", so that there are as many sources as possible to help prevent it from being blocked or removed by the powers that be, and to obfuscate the source as much as possible. I'd prefer to remain anonymous, and just submit this as a measure of doing my part for the greater good.

UPDATE 25-05-09: efforts are in progress to further develop this into a webapp with a frontend UI (map and table views) for a proper database, which will include even more criteria/datasets (e.g. proximity and availability of various amenities/resources, schools, taxes, cost of living, average income, unemployment rate, and more). it's still much too soon to have an ETA for this, but the info will be shared here as soon as it is available.

I'd like to do a longer post about the history of papal elections as I think their principles could be relevant to consider for the present or future, but I only have time to post this tonight.

For example, some questions come up about how Catholics would elect if the cardinals all died in a war for example or something; a little research indicates for example that cardinals were not always the exclusive electors of the pope, and that a "general imperfect council of bishops" might elect a pope if cardinals cannot, or a papal election might occur in some other way so long as it gains a kind of "universal acceptance by Catholics".

The election of a pope exclusively by cardinals is only from 1059 onward I believe:

title. alt history would significantly streamline the whole process so i could focus on *writing in* the things that matter (names, titles, places, concepts, terms) but from my perspective it feels like "giving up". or should i settle for historic fiction?
