from neuroscience, there's a TINY bridge in your brain that lets your emotions affect the rest of your decision making. there's an enzyme in your brain that basically closes that bridge. closed bridge = non-emotional decision making. a person might still be stupid, make objectively irrational decisions, but they're not being emotional when the bridge is closed.
not only do men have a thinner bridge (so it takes a lot less enzyme to close the bridge), men also produce significantly more of the enzyme. this means men on average are able to compartmentalize their emotions at MUCH great success rates. it's not bottling up the emotions until they explode... it's basically putting them in timeout until they cool down and relax, and then he can let them out for a more relaxed sit-down.
women on the other hand are much less likely able to close the bridge, as they have a wider bridge and less enzyme to close it. the social response for women is that women respond by talking through their emotions, no matter how fucking ridiculous her feelings are.

* when a woman asks for a man to share his emotions, the only answer is to mock or ignore the question. any answer, defense, supplication, or explanation will be met with punishment nearly 100% of the time, as she sees him expressing vulnerability and weakness, and he is no longer the rock, the security in the relationship.
you literally get a single exception, and only from very mature women (immature women don't even comprehend it). that exception is a death in very close, immediate family, usually your parents. anything else, and you're a blubbering fucking pussy in her eyes now.
so it's not that men don't process emotions. it's that men don't process emotions the same way women do, and any time a man does, despite women asking for it explicitly, he gets obliterated for it.
it's not even like this is some redpill nonsense... psychiatry has been studying this for a fucking century.
