In the original sense of the word as "Protest[ing] Catholic" maybe but it's evolved beyond that in the past 500 pr ap years to encompass a distinct doxology and theology. Christ promised St. Peter the gates of hell would not prevail against His Church. Neither was wrong.
The Church has had bad Popes before and even made deals with Rothschild banks along with other decisions I don't agree with but I trust God's Word far more than any blackpill clickbait merchant.
Not really. You're attributing Protestantism as a centralized theme or doctrine like Orthodox/Catholicism have. It's not. It's simply that. Definitions do not evolve. They do not change over time. Right is right, wrong is wrong.

Yeah, but they prevailed over the Orthodox and Catholic Church, so they were never His Church. That's the point.

So you remember when God's Word said He loves Whites and hates jews forever, right? (Malachi 1:2-4, Romans 9:13) So how can the Orthodox/Catholic Church today be those things when they allow jews and nons into it?
Well then by that logic there is either no true church (i.e. calling Christ a liar) or there's just one and all the others are heresies (still denying Christ's promise if it's not Peter's Church). Both the Catholic and Orthodox believers see the other as schismatic. I can't tell you which one is objectively true because only God knows that. But it is the time of tribulation.
It means that Christ's promise and Church is being fulfilled by whatever of the 6 million+ Protestant denominations that's correctly following Holy Tradition by keeping Sacraments and all nons, especially jews, out. Since that's not being fulfilled by the Orthodox or Catholic Church today, the only conclusion is Protestantism.
