People don't want to believe we are the bad guys. Even those who can see it objectively generally do not want to deal with the cognitive dissonance that comes with true understanding.

even as a young child i realized patriotism to the united states government entity was idiotic. 9/11 was the final nail in the coffin for me. i really wanted to join the military as a kid and then 9/11 happened. i still had a couple of years of high school left. by the time i graduated i had already learned 9/11 was an inside job so i became a drug dealer instead. really fucked me up
