I guess. It’s just insane how many relatively intelligent people I’ve known, and run across over the years who had to learn the hard way. The whole “that couldn’t/wouldn’t ever happen to me” mindset is a legit thing, that I always run across from people of all different walks of life, races, and classes. I’ve noticed it comes from different places depending on whom you’re speaking with. Often times it comes from a place of ignorance, and stupidity, but many times, I’ve also seen it come from a place of hubris. My point being is don’t put it past anyone you know to find a way to FAFO.
