Nvidia kind of sucks gaming on Linux still, AMD GPU's are very competitive if you still only wanted to have one primarily. For the game machine I would look into the Chris Titus tool, which lets you at least avoid TPM (any Rufus install lets you do that) and a lot of the spyware and you can delay updates permanently or feature updates for 2 years on Pro.
