Indians do not have morals or real values other than deceiving others. Which means he can/will curse his gods in order to deceive others. In their fucked up logic, their gods will reward him for being clever enough to deceive others.

Because they have a saving face culture like the Chinese do. They will never admit that they will do the thing to get ahead. They don't care about the opinions or thoughts of the people around them. Essentially, doing what you ask, which is to curse their gods in public, is to admit to being a bitch. That's something they won't do, even though they all are.
