Just look how StopKillingGames initiative and petition, with 1.3M signatures and solid arguments got dismissed with false narrative that games are just "hateful".

People who pirated the games have a copy that they can install offline, play offline, and keeps working after the company pulls the plug on licence-check servers.

Only the costumer who paied for the product, oops sorry Sony, who "contracted a limited temporary licence with terms that can be changed at any time", get treated so badly.
