this is real. before the pandemic, i'd saved a shitload of stuff directly on reddit using their stupid save button.

when the pandemic hit, they started tightening down. not only were pages removed, entire subs were nuked, and eventually they banned me for wrongthink. anything you leave in their walled garden is leverage they have over you.

Already happening. They're deleting tweets, claiming screencaps are fake, and DDOSing archive sites.

That's why we had all of those archive sites, of which I can only think of 2 which actually remain (as I don't count archive.org since they routinely delete things themselves if they don't align to the leftist narrative).

buy cheap hard disk drives and save everything.

but even better is printing paper copies as well
