The Lindsay Clancy case, and the subsequent fall out has reopened, and piqued my interest on this topic of discussion again, both on the internet, and more specifically, and intimately, at a recent event I attended.

What say you gentleman? How “high” are your standards, and/or what are your non starters/negotiables, and instant disqualifies in 2026? What’s it like out there for some of you guys actively trying to navigate the minefield of mOOdern kikery they call dating today? Anecdotal experiences welcome. Let’s hear the good, and the bad.

I found my wife completely randomly through Hinge. We both remark how cosmically rare of an event it was to find each other wading through all the trash. Really makes me grateful and faithful in God that my life has worked out as it has.

Yeah, we'd both been on dating sites for a bit, but just instantly clicked on our first date. Definitely helped that she revealed that she wanted to live off grid and had already bought 10 acres of woods. She also knows some good racist jokes she was eager to tell me lol
