Latins and indians really have made camping a huge gamble when it comes to actually getting some peace and quiet, and maintaining the natural environment
Trash, amplified music, bright lights, huge tents, etc. I recently went on a hike with my kids and came along one of these near a lake. The nons were wallowing around and walking barefoot in loads of goose shit like it was nothing. Absolutely disgusting.

No power/water hookups, no trails, just walk into the wood and good luck to you. It requires preparation so nons can't handle it.
