Bane is Latino in the modern runs, but that is a recent dei bullshit move. Same story with killer croc, who is now a black man who got turned, originally either unknown backstory or white. Aside from some silver age anti Asian stereotypes that never made appearances again, that's it.

The Joker and Penguin are Jewish coded. Bane himself while born on a random Latin American island narcostate is father was a blonde German mercenary named King Snake while his mother was a high class Spanish Castillo looking lass. Classic Bane just looked German. His creator Chuck Dixon most likely meant for him to be a bad guy German ubermench.

Catwoman was Italian even though the Absolute Catwoman of current day looks portarican.

Batman is just in general a good pulp adventure serial. I dip in every few years. From the era of Robert E Howard, HP Lovecraft, Walter B. Gibson, etc. It still has the bones of all the great western, detective and adventure writers. The veneer of gaudy gayness comes from (((you know who))).
