I agree with Jake Shields and Leonarda Jonie that Fuentes is some kind of controlled opposition, or at least someone that those in power employ to speak some truth but also demoralize his listeners into inaction. He has spoken out against candidates like Casey Putsch in Ohio who could actually make a difference, and I don't think he genuinely cares about helping people. For instance, one time a superchatter wrote in saying that Fuentes' show had kept him going during some hard times, and Fuentes essentially called him a weak faggot and said that he should kill himself. But, a few days later, he said he was praying for Tyler Robinson or some nonsense.
I bought into the hype surrounding him for a time, but it's all performative, and he would happily watch this country burn.
