I have an extremely low mileage 09 manual vehicle that I’m about to get professionally painted. It’s one of the last few “driver” vehicles to exist IMHO. I will likely never buy a new vehicle again in my life. I just don’t see the point. Everything is so overly automated, and tech driven now that it’s basically like having someone drive you around. From my understanding the only thing you can still buy factory new that’s actually fun to drive, not just go fast in a straight line, under 2800lbs, is the Miatas, but even those have disgusting cheap lcd screens sticking out of the dash now, and still run 30k plus. I do believe they still come with physical analog gauges behind the steering wheel though, which is nice IMHO.
