The reason is that women are left to be alone more due to increased loneliness. While they fuck around like idiotic hedonists, they lack the man in their life who tells them to stop being retarded, who places boundaries to her (self-)destructive behaviors.

It's possible that that was always the nature of women (with some variance, although brainwash is extreme), but in the past women did have a man in their life (a husband) much earlier, before they could make retarded decisions.
