Interestingly, the internet conspiracies are usually the opposite of this. They generally say that the aether is actually real and jewish / free mason / globalist science is covering this up. The aether assumption was a reasonable guess at the time, sound propagates in air afterall, but it failed under observation and was replaced.

Dark matter is not definitive. It arises from the fact that at tremendous distance scales, things seem to be some combination of moving too fast or weighing too little. The other main option is the theory for gravity is wrong. There is a third, which is that their measurements are wrong, but that one is largely ignored. I personally don't care too much because whatever the answer is will probably have zero effect on anything we can do here. If dark matter is real, it won't be anything silly like you hear from science influencers, it will just be some material particle we did not know about that has no electric charge. Things like that are already observed, just not enough of it yet.

There is a lot of truth to saying contemporary science is full of bullshit. Especially physics and *especially* cosmology. But this gets conflated with regular physics. Regular physics is much more reasonable and it is just jewish media that makes things sound retarded.
