I would have no problem with a socialized healthcare system if I lived in a nation instead of an economic zone. For all the leftist hype about European-style social welfare, they completely gloss over the fact that the reason those systems worked (and have started crumbling in the past 10-15 years) is that they operated on a combined nationalist and socialist mindset. Hmm...

Correct. Also, they could fund their healthcare systems like a well-oiled military because we, in fact, were their well-oiled military.

They hardly even pay for NATO, which we still provide the bulk of funding.
