Mental illness is a bullshit cop out. Murdering anyone in cold blood is inherently a mentally ill thing to do. Anyone who murders their small, defenseless children is inherently mentally ill as evidence by the action of *murdering their defenseless offspring.*

So yea - not a valid excuse.
