Same. For years, when I was younger I tried to not be a racist. It's because I'm white and one of the positive traits of being white is empathy. Even though that empathy can be a double edged sword.
But I learned after years and years of observing behavior, that they don't deserve that empathy. Other whites and animals should get white empathy, but nogs do not deserve it.
