yeah i always prefer to pay with cash, with cash you can't have your CC info scanned and jeeted

with cash, the worst thing you can get is someone giving you fake dollar bill change, and the chances of that happening is very unlikely because it is a federal crime (which mean zogbots take it seriously and would liquidate the "shitskin DEI programming" if activated)

I use prepaid gift cards even for the Panera Sip Club which I only ever get when I can get it for less than $10/month on SlickDeals. I'll pay the $5 for a "free" drink whenever I want all month. I never buy the food.
