Note that Japan was completely rebuilt using US taxpayer dollars and subsidized for decades.

Yep. A better comparison would be to Detroit, which has also been subsidized by US taxpayers for decades.

Doesn't matter. The Japanese are historically disciplined and industrious people.

They cleaned up and rebuild after that Tsunami hit in less than six months.

Cuba is brimming with lazy mulatos and niggers. They never stood a chance!

I'm not dismissing your premise, but this is also thanks to heavy handed blockades and sanctions, embargoes and reverse-restricted tourism. Almost any island state would suffer the same fate under the same conditions regardless of their economic policies.

Blockades and sanctions are about 90% of the reason why Cuba is in such terrible state. Socialism did the rest, but given that the best of Whites have left, socialism was also the only thing that could effectively pacify the negro population. Once the regime falls, violent crime will skyrocket.

What blockades? What sanctions? The American ones?

Cuba literally has an entire planet of proxies, including the BRICS and the Israelis, who now own their citrus fields. The issue is genetics. Cuba is brimming with lazy mulatos and niggers. Their odds were never better than any other subsidized place brimming with lazy browns.

Not arguing your "people" argument, but secondary-sanctions are having a real affect. This chokes out most serious trade with the island, as the dollar and thus the transferring banks, are controlled by the US, which has applied the embargo.

Look at the cost of living in Hawaii. Shipping costs are significant. Cuba is effectively as far from any meaningful trading partners as Hawaii is from the US.

Genetics plays a part too

These two cultures are nothing alike, either.

Also, due to policies of the communist government, most of the Cuban emigrants to the US and Latin America have been White, so there are fewer Whites in Cuba than there were in the 1950s.

Most of the cities in Cuba are 90% black.
