You can be a whore/prostitute and still live a relatively normal life if you're discrete about it, but once you become a porn "star" you're fucked (figuratively).
Doing it out in the open doesn't wash away the stigma. Nobody really sees it as a respectable career, not even Redditors who came up with the "sex worker" moniker as cope. A woman's apparent worth will always be strongly tied to her mileage. It's just biology. No amount of money will buy back her parents, nor make it sting less when her kids get told "your mom is a whore" in the playground. It's the closest thing to selling your soul.
That’s basically how many non obese woman live now. Many fat ones get away with this too now. They may not be given cash money directly all the time, but they sure aren’t doing it for free out of love many, if not most times now. I know a few “husbands” who have to pay for sex in some form of fashion, and a couple who never get any at all. It’s really quite sad.
