I wonder how many other Nuremberg claims were actually done by the soviets? They also tried blaming the Katyn massacre on Germany.

Modern Russia no longer has a notable Jewish element (seems like they wised up and purged somehow) but the Soviet legacy and its achievements is still important to them. This is why they will never admit to anything and wont rehabilitate Nazis even if they found it to be propaganda.

This is true, and, since the "special military operation" Russian propagandists online have actually begun to claim that the admission of the Katyn massacre being their own doing was actually just part of an appeasement to the west after the fall of the Soviet union.

They now claim it was indeed the Nazis 🙄
