It wasn't long ago when the USS Gerald R. Ford suffered a *(ahem)* "laundry fire" so bad that the entire carrier needed to be returned to the US for a complete overhaul.
There's a slight chance it was hit by iranian missiles, but that doesn't seem likely because iran has been steadily climbing the escalation ladder and hasn't started attacking US aircraft carriers because that would result in 5,000 dead and a world war.
I suspect the USS Gerald R. Ford revolted because they didn't want to die for israel. Burned their own ship so it was forced to return home.
There is more than a slight chance. I would say that there is a 100% probability. Iran has world class weapons capability and has been preparing for this moment for decades. I'm certain they struck the Ford with the intent to disable it without sinking the ship. Those things are incredibly robust and it takes a lot to sink them, and Iran knows that.
Besides, have you ever seen video of the Ford on fire? There are multiple fires across the flight deck. How does a simple fire in the laundry spread up and across the flight deck, the most heavily reinforced part of the ship?
Furthermore, I consider that Israel must be destroyed
