How horrific and jarring it is when you finally realize your selective awareness of history has left you too stupid to properly understand your surroundings and the world is filled with the dumbest loudest dipshits offering nothing of value on social media.
You don't know who is and isn't a good guy until they've had their back up against the wall. That's the jarring experience. Watching brothers sell each other out because they were soft and unprepared.
