When the default is to worship the almighty dollar, the nation’s corporations become its idols. Sad.
The first was the destruction of the south as a unique cultural unit. The 13 colonies and the early us was really divided into 2 primary cultures, the northeast and the southeast, and the mid atlantic which was a mixture of the 2 in varying degrees. The states that were formed after manifest destiny would be more or less like one or the other based on who settled them and/or geographical proximity. The civil war and reconstruction made all of America more the same. This isn't to say that the south today is "exactly the same as the north in every single way", but rather that it went from being almost an entirely different country to being obviously broadly "American" with a couple of "quirks".
The second, which impacted the entire country more, was the prioritization of endless growth after ww2. Culture and tradition is not a vector for growing GDP and securing profits, so it was done away with. Everything is done for efficiency and whatever makes the most money is the best course of action. If this involves, for instance, bulldozing historic parts of a city to make room for roads and parking lots, so be it.
It has reached a point where America is probably the first country in history to be a superpower with absolutely nothing unique to export to the rest of the world except for the concept of rampant materialism and endless growth politics. America will not leave behind a single building or work of art in another country but you'll be damned if it won't change their dietary habits or their social politics.
But America itself is the worst affected of course. America is at a point where it cannot point to anything except whimpers from the past as something cultural. And it isn't because America is a fairly young country. America had more of a culture when it was much younger. America has less of a culture now than countries only a little bit older (and younger as independent nations). Indeed, even a beaner can point to something in Mexico and say "this is part of my culture", a Brazilian can, an Argentinian can, to say nkthing of old world countries. But an American can only say, if we are being honest with ourselves, "this is a remnant of a different time that still kind of persists that may be viewed as a unique cultural element by some people".

What's really tragic is in another decade or two, there will be nothing left of those quirks that culturally distinguishes the South from the North other than accents. And when looking at niggers with a "posh" West London affectation... what difference does that really make?
One of the most easy examples to point to (and one which Americans get shit on for, pretty deservedly) is the inability to drive a standard. And it's not just that, it's the absolute weaponized incompetence that young Americans show with anything you have to move gears in, even if it has every modern assist on the planet. Too many people just outright refuse to learn and consider that its impossible for them to move at all in a manual. And it's... easy. First gear, gas, lift clutch slowly. The rest is self explanatory. But this is something that's way too complicated for anyone below the age of 50 to understand apparently. My dad said "if you don't know how to shift gears then you can't drive" and I learned how to do that before I even knew the rules of the road. The story of the American tourist going to Europe, renting a car, and then either being stranded because they can't drive it or blowing up the engine because they left it in 1st is far too common, and as an American, it's fucking embarrassing.
That's just one example. But theres others. Cooking is another thing that half or more of all young Americans utterly lack the ability to do, basic maintenance on cars, etc. A lot of this is to blame on boomers, though, for teaching their children (millennials) jack fucking shit about life

The one advantage of standard transmissions being erased in modern America is that over time that has forced me to become a decently adept mechanic, acquiring skill & knowledge as I go working on the older cars that I have driven and maintained. And yes this is but one of many examples of how dissimilar men like us are from the average person, and especially the average American. The fucking lack of curiosity or desire to do for oneself consistently astounds me. The contentment to be nothing more than dependent consumptive biomass confounds me.

You say America has nothing to export, yet euros sure love to imitate everything. The audacity to claim Europeans got their own style or something in 2026. What style is that, avoiding eye contact with sandniggers?
What I'm saying is that the US exported nothing unique or beneficial. Rome exported good things and roman culture, spain exported good things, and spanish culture, as did the portuguese, even the British exported good things (though the British empire showed the very beginnings of what would be significantly expanded by the us). What's america exported that's... good or unique? What makes it non-unique is that it isn't culture that America exported, it's the cosmopolitan anti-culture that already destroyed the US. The only thing unique about it is that it isn't unique at all.
