It's absolutely crazy to me that people who looked this young in the 1980s look this old already. And I can only imagine this feeling of disconnect from time is going to get worse as I get older.

The photo is AI slop, but 1980 is 46 years ago...

The mass generation of images, media, recorded music, etc. is something the human mind hasn't delt with until recently. It's very easy to immerse yourself in media from decades ago. It sort of unmoors you from the reality of time.
