Our generosity and willingness to extend protection and brotherhood towards others is a significant trait. It's born of Winter. At first they simply spread ideals of egalitarianism and tolerance of others. Then they galvanized this into a system of oppression where everything bad that happens to non-whites is our fault and it is mandatory that we treat them better than us. And finally they utterly vilified white in-group preference and helping. The result is a race with a unique capacity for helping each other being completely subverted into indifference for one another and servility towards racial aliens.
