The only time they are "born this way" is when their mothers were infested with behavior altering parasites, such as toxoplasma gondii which, since human brains are very similar and function and pathology to rats, does in fact alter behavior in humans.

Doubt it. Been lots of cats all about the place for nearly 10 thousand years and this shit is new. And usually acute toxoplasma gondii exposure causes in infants causes things like seizures. But parasites in general? I could believe it. That and how the modern average diet impacts hormones, and the "chemicals in the water turns the frog gay" meme that turned out to be true (I forgot what the chemical actually was).
