Let's just say I heavily doubt that today's Greeks have much of anything to do with the same genepool that produced the Greek philosophers and playwrights of yore.
Compare Sami Zayn (two Syrian parents) to Drew Pavlou. It seems obvious to me which one is more racially European. It isn't even a close contest.
Indeed, there are plenty of people who are half-Asian and yet are somehow still more European-looking than many Greeks, e.g. Michael Chong (politician in Canada).
Where I am, Greeks identify more with Palestinians, Lebanese, and Syrians (e.g. in terms of who they associate with, who they prefer to employ) than Whites. Even worse, many if not most of them are also descended from communists who fled Greece after they lost the civil war against the monarchists, and they still retain the same Leftist sympathies and voting patterns, just like their Arab buddies, to this day.
Thus, were you to produce irrefutable evidence that the Greek genepool has never changed since the time of the Socratics, then I would simply alter my conclusion: these people never were European to begin with, but are simply foreign interlopers in Europe, exactly like most if not all of the Albanians. These people are not merely coproderms by appearance, but by deed. The same genes that produced such great men as a Bonald or a Gehlen would not produce such a base, ignoble people.
All of the genetic evidence points to this.

Now compare Tracy Spiridakos (2 greek parents) to Russell Brand (2 english parents). The former looks aryan and the latter looks almost arab. They're both white. The thing is that greeks have more Neolithic dna than bronze age steppe herder dna. But both of these groups of people were related to each other and both contribute enormously to the white race. It's just that one has swarthy features and the other created more nordic phenotypes. Thus, greeks are more likely to be swarthy than englishmen, but the reverse scenario exists in people of the same 2 races as I pointed out.

Proximity. Greeks have been involved in some way with levantines since the Minoan period which was 5000 years ago. They had colonies in palestine (the Philistines), they conquered each other, they traded with each other. Greece hardly even had relations with people to their north because every single one of them just about was hostile. Despite the fact that they were fellow indo Europeans while their neighbors to the east were semites. This still carries over today. The cultural proximity is so thorough (because its so ancient) that the eastern mediterannean can be considered its own cultural unit. But greeks are still indo european, and their eastern neighbors are not.

What do you expect from a group of people that descend from ancestors which all held the same political beliefs? That this *wouldn't* be passed on? The Cuban gusanos, who are and were the opposite of the greeks you mentioned, are still overwhelmingly neo-liberal conservatives even down to the youngest generations.

All of the evidence points to the fact that the gene pool hasn't changed. The only thing pointing to the idea that it has is the continuous circlejerk of Madison Grant-ian nordicist racial theories. Moreover, the Greek gene pool is actually slightly more northern than it used to be. So if anything, it's more "aryan" according to the nordicist.

We have all become more base and ignoble as a race, not just greeks. I can also point out how many ruthless faggots exist in the north and how there are more of them there than in the south. The same genes that produced such man as Socrates and Plato also cannot produce people such as keir starmer, or the average anglo-celtic american of the year 2026, but they did, because everyone is in a continuous malaise from world jewry.

This pretty much never happened. Genetic studies show approximately 0 east asian (in this case turkic) admixture in greeks, which is at least somewhat prevalent in turkey (although it also doesn't have a lot of it either). In the rare case that the occasional study says they do have *some*, it's not any more than in germany of all places. This would be the only real giveaway of widespread Greek-Turkish mixing, but it doesn't exist, so we can conclude that this never happened. If it did happen, it was from greeks in turkey proper.
Greeks are mixed with anatolians, but this goes back thousands of years, and anatolians were effectively a sister race of the greeks. The Trojans were anatolian.
Conquest of a people =/= mixing with those people. Britain was under roman rule for longer than Greece was under ottoman rule and modern brits (including native brythonics such as the Welsh or englishmen from cornwall) have nonexistent roman blood. There wasn't even a cultural assimilation with the turks. The greeks retained everything greek. Their language, culture, blood, and religion remained Greek all throughout the ottoman period. The greeks were really the people that the ottomans bothered the least out of all the other balkan countries, the greeks hardly suffered much when compared to literally anyone else, even Arabs. But the sultans were grecophiles, this is probably why. The worst the greeks suffered on an average day was lack of political representation (like everyone else) and Devshirme (also like everyone else). Other than that, they dodged the brunt of ottoman barbarity. Certainly no mass rapes or genocides happened in Greece, there's no evidence for it. No historical and no genetic evidence.
